IBDP GLOBAL POLITICS
I am a Kashmiri Pandit born and raised in Delhi. Commencing my academic journey at Delhi University, Fueled by a deep commitment to my community, I went on to obtain a Master’s and Ph.D. in Political Science, with a specific focus on the challenges faced by returning Kashmiri Pandits.
As an accomplished author, I have penned “Kashmiri Pandits: Impact of Migration on their Culture and Identity” and contributed significantly to academic discourse through four research papers. My scholarly interests extend beyond this specific focus, encompassing issues related to women. I have written a compelling book chapter advocating for the necessity of marital rape laws in India.
I am proactive in encouraging questions and promptly addressing doubts in my teaching approach. My style revolves around simplifying complex subjects by breaking them down into manageable components, ensuring accessibility for all students. I strongly believe in connecting theoretical knowledge to real-world situations, offering context that not only reinforces understanding but also illustrates the practical applications of the concepts being taught. Central to my teaching philosophy is prioritizing student comprehension. I welcome questions at any point and strive to clarify doubts promptly.
Beyond my tutoring responsibilities, I derive immense joy from cherishing precious moments with my toddler and embracing the fulfilling journey of parenthood. My interests extend to delving into research on parenting strategies and exploring alternative teaching methods such as Montessori and Waldorf. Painting serves as my creative outlet, providing a means to express myself artistically. Additionally, I am passionate about traveling and constantly seeking out diverse cultural experiences to enrich my perspective.
